Reason for selection: For installing
bathtubs of stone/wood lining, a wet method using concrete mortar is commonly
employed but ASTEC has adopted a dry installation method with stainless steel
tubs realizing better waterproof, lighter weight and shorter construction
period. The applicant
initially used SUS304 for waterproof tubs but after considering attaining
higher durability ( or using some other steel grade), has opted for SUS821L1
that provides higher strength than SUS304 in the same thickness without
increase in weight.Bathtubs

bathtubs of modern design is expected to expand demand for stainless steel in a
wide range of fields including inns, hotels and personal residences.
