Reason for selection: Drawing on its
supply experience of filter units to food and semi-conductor factories, the
applicant has developed Hitachi Fine Filter Unit to circulate air of high
purity with less energy and more efficiency in such places as separation booths
for patients of Covid-19 that was on a rampage since 2019. In order to maintain
hygienic and clean environments, stainless steel is adopted for the casing of
the unit. The unit is
widely used not only in Japan but also in other countries of the world serving
to check the spread of Covid-19.Furthermore, as regenerative medicine is progressing from an experimental
stage to a practical phase, the Company has also developed a “next-generation
modular CPC (cell processing center)” and the captioned unit is designated
as standard specification in this facility, which will work to increase
the use of stainless steel through contribution to society in the future.
